How to add your trail system to Trailbot

Trailbot is a 100% free (here's why) service and app for trail systems to publish current conditions across multiple channels (app, web, social media).

Key Features for Trail Managers

  • Web-based, mobile-friendly trail manager for posting updates
  • Automatic cross-posting to Facebook Pages
  • Unlimited trail managers
  • Per-trail user assignments
  • Trail issue reporting with GPS and pictures
  • Embeddable widgets for your web site
  • Share to Instagram (via mobile app)

What Trailbot is NOT

  • Trailbot does not do mapping (e.g. Trailforks, AllTrails)
  • Trailbot does not do ride tracking (e.g. Strava)

Requirements

All trails systems and trail management organizations looking to use Trailbot must meet the following requirements:

  1. Trails must be located in the United States or Canada (for now)
  2. The trail system must be primarily used for off-road cycling (typically mountain, adaptive mountain and/or fat biking)
  3. Trails must be open to the public (private and commercial trails are allowed as long as anyone can show up and use them)
  4. Trail managers must be authorized to make updates on behalf of the trail/system (Trailbot does not use crowdsourcing)
  5. Trailbot requests that you post updates at least as often as your other channels (e.g. Facebook)

Questions? Send us an email and we'll get back to you promptly.

If you meet the above requirements and are interested in using Trailbot, fill out the New Trail Request form to get started.
